Jackson Pollock recreations in miniature covering his Action Painting era (1940"s-1950's).. Utilizing a modified Sgraffito technique I attempt to capture his style and feeling.

I am a 71 year old artist who spends his (dwindling) time recreating, in intricate miniature form, the remarkable works of artists from the vibrant decades of the 50's to the 80's (Far Out!). This creative endeavor is a heartfelt series of Jackson Pollock recreations, and I take great pride in the detail. Apart from the obvious fact that my pieces are significantly smaller than the actual size of the art, I strive to be as accurate as possible in my portrayal of his unique style and bold color palette. This piece is meticulously crafted, measuring 7 inches by 5 inches, and is elegantly mounted on the "Guggenheim Wall" 12 inches by 10 inches for display, where it can be appreciated alongside other great works of art. My journey as an artist at this stage of my life has been fulfilling, , hoping to capture the essence of the original works while also reflecting my own artistic vision.
